TWM is the brainchild of Dan Wolovick, starting as a humble blog with only one or two writers, it expanded to a series of live shows and now a full-time booking gig at Rancho Relaxo. TWM has continued to exist in blog-form with a rotating cast of contributers covering the Toronto independent music scene and beyond.

Name: Terri Coles (coles.terri@gmail.com)
Position: Writer / Photographer / Webmaster
Twitter: http://twitter.com/terri_to/
Favourite Album:
Terri is a fan of indie music (twowaymonologues.com), photography (http://flickr.com/drunknmonkey) and cats (http://miaou-miaou.tumblr.com). She combines the first two of those interests with frequent attendance at local shows, band photography, and blogging for Two Way Monologues. She hasn’t yet figure out how to work in the cats, but don’t be surprised if you see a kitten at Rancho Relaxo one day.

Name: Dan Gorman (tuwhitt@gmail.com)
Position: Webmaster / Writer
Twitter: http://twitter.com/tuwhitt/
Favourite Album: Descendents – Milo Goes To College / They Might Be Giants – Lincoln
Dan moved to Toronto by way of Peterborough in 2006, and ever since has strived to bring his love of music into the physical and digital realm. After spending a few years at College in Thunder Bay (for Film Production and Television Broadcasting), Dan’s love — or obsession? — with music led him to the big city where great bands, artists, and most importantly amazing friends, can be found in abundance. When not writing for the site or wrangling with the wordpress, Dan can be found dabbling in photography, absorbing vinyl into his collection, or keeping an eye out for striking art and media design (http://tumblr.com/yckmd).
Name: Meghan Swinkels (press@twowaymonologues.com)
Position: Publicist
Twitter: http://twitter.com/being_meghan
Meghan has lived in small towns with funny names (Antigonish and Tatamagouche – can you pronounce them?) and cities of all sizes, from Montreal, to Ottawa, to Halifax, to Calgary. Despite the numerous changes of address (and the excellent frequent flier miles), she couldn’t find a place to call her own. That is, of course, until she arrived in Toronto last summer and fell in love with this city’s brand of hustle and bustle.
The newest addition to the TWM team, Meghan is using her corporate communications background for good instead of evil and showing her publicity and social media chops. If she’s not at a show, and depending on the time of day, Meghan can be found with either a cup of coffee in hand or a bottle of Keith’s brew, shopping for vinyl or reenacting the most moving passage from any Nancy Drew novel.
