Today In Music News: Friday July 30

Continuing the push for their latest album, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings will spend more time on the road in the coming months.  Hope they’re back in Canada again soon!

King Khan and the Shrines have also joined the growing list of bands hitting the road this fall, with dates across North America.

The Daft Punk score for Tron: Legacy was said to be leaked to YouTube earlier in the day, but Disney has confirmed that they are fan-created (see updated section) and not official soundtrack or film score related in any way. Looking for some new music? Flavorpill’s just released another mixtape, featuruing Best Coast, Kele and Young Galaxy.

Broken Social Scene flick This Movie Is Broken opens in Toronto today.

The Golden Dogs are releasing their new album this weekend, but you can get an early taste of its material by watching the live videos of the band performing its newer tracks that they’ve uploaded on their website.
