Moooooonday. After a rainy show-filled weekend, we’ve got some music news for you to check out. Speaking of which:

Basement-dwelling troubadour B.A. Johnston is preparing to unleash his upcoming album, Thank You For Being A Friend, upon unsuspecting audiences — check out a preview track.

Remember when Ted Leo recently stated he was thinking of getting into musical theater? Well, his new video for the song Bottled in Cork has been released, and from the looks of things it was all lead-up hype for this hilarious and amazing video. Well played Leo, well played.

Cee-Lo Green has a new jam, called “Fuck You.” Language, Cee-Lo.

Neil Young is releasing a new solo album, Le Noise, on September 28.

Efterklang put out not one, not two, but three new releases today. And it’s not even a Tuesday! You can now pick up single “Raincoats” and deluxe reissues of Tripper and Parades.

Hawksley Workman and Buck 65 are planning a musical collaboration, to be called Loose Cougar. Buck 65 describes the resulting tunes as “full on glossy, sugary pop.”

In semi-music related news: Sleater-Kinney member Carrie Brownstein and SNL cast member Fred Armisen have been doing sketch comedy as ThunderAnt lately, and now their act is primed to go to the major leagues as a tv-show on IFC. Awesome!

Via his insufferable Twitter account, Kanye West announced that he’ll be giving away one free song a week from now until Christmas.
